REDEMPTION: A MULTI-CURE
We are living at a very exciting time. We are living in a very glorious period. We are at the time the enemy would love never to see happen. We are at a bend where the whole plan and counsel of God must definitely surface.
Friend, I wish to inform you that God meant the best when He planned redemption which He eventually executed in Christ. There has been a lot of misconceptions regarding redemption. Some give it a parochial definition ascribing it only to Salvation from sin. I regard this application and definition not only as scandalous but also a heavy distortion and misrepresentation of the truth of God’s eternal plan.
Redemption has it’s root in the ‘buy back’ principle in the medieval slave trading.
It is a theological concept which depicts the way God bought us back from the devil’s enclave where he has kept us when and where Adam and Eve representatively sold us and we experientially affirmed the sellout by our choice of a sinful way.
Redemption, as an all-sweeping deliverance mechanism, seeks to free us from every entanglement and encumbrance of our pre-redemptive days. It seeks to cleanse us of the devil’s symbols and emblems. It seeks to strip us of the evil’s inglorious garment. It seeks to bring a radical turn around to the way we live. It is highly carpeting and all-embracing in the way it seeks to represent us, looking for a way that no one will be able to link us with our former taskmaster and vicious oppressor. It seeks to sack our tormentor-in-chief and reinstate our eternal lord and saviour in the driver’s seat of the vehicle of our life. Everything and anything known with the devil is suppose to be done away with while we appear in the image created for us from the beginning of ages.
Redemption is not only about sin but also about the consequences of sin. Sin has uncles and cousins. Poverty, sickness, stagnation, curses, oppression etc as analysed in Deut.,28 from verse…… are all within the intention of God to be done away with. REDEMPTION is a MULTICURE CAPSULE which has proved to be HIGHLY EFFECTIVE when the RIGHT DOSAGE is used in the RIGHT TIMING under the APPROPRIATE ATMOSPHERE as supervised by QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.
Friend, Christianity will be very exciting if you get the concept of Redemption correctly; if not, you simply discover you will be struggling along while others are having happy days in the lord. This is where the journey of a fruitful believer’s life begins. The working understanding of this concept will make paradise to begin from here for you. You are supposed to have a foretaste of heavenly blessings from earth. You are supposed to experience the goodness and power of God right from here. All these are packaged in Redemption.
Never should you again look at Redemption as only salvation from sin. Even Salvation as mentioned in Greek, is ZOZO. It does not stand for escape from sin only but escape from all forms of dangers, sin and it’s consequences inclusive. Redemption is to bring you to the state of Genesis experienc,e where God said ‘it is very good’
